On this day, our company guide will meet you at your hotel or designated address, then drive you to the world’s most powerful waterfall in Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, you will visit the Rhino Sanctuary at Ziwa. Enjoy a hot lunch during this short break. Later, proceed to Murchison Falls National Park and check in at your lodge, where you’ll have dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2

Murchison Falls National Park

Murchison Falls National Park

On this day, enjoy a morning game drive toward the Albert and Victoria Nile, where you’ll encounter a wide range of wildlife and bird species. Along the way, look out for herds of elephants, giraffes, antelopes, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, waterbucks, lions, and several bird species. Later in the day, after lunch, embark on a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. This three-hour cruise from Paraa is a rewarding experience that offers sightings of various wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, elephants (though sightings are less common along this side), and a variety of birdlife such as African fish eagles. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

After a healthy breakfast in the morning, prepare for your transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to spot several bird species. You will enjoy a warm lunch during the journey and arrive in the evening at the lodge, where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 4

Kibale National Park - Queen Elizabeth National Park

Kibale National Park - Queen Elizabeth National Park

Wake up for an early breakfast, then head to the park headquarters for a briefing session on chimpanzee tracking and the Kibale code of conduct. After the briefing, you will be guided into the forest to begin tracking chimpanzees and other primates in their natural habitat. The park’s site guide will lead you through this adventurous experience, where you may encounter various forest primates such as L’Hoest’s monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, baboons, and other forest species. The main highlight of the day will be the chimpanzees.

After the tracking experience, you will embark on the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will enjoy wildlife sightseeing. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 5

Kazinga Channel

At the park, you will enjoy a game drive towards the Kasenyi plains, which may reward you with sightings of various animals such as large herds of Ugandan kob, elephants, leopards, lions, buffaloes, warthogs, and antelopes. Later, after lunch, you will embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This experience is very rewarding, offering views of aquatic animals like crocodiles and hippos, as well as many bird species such as carmine bee-eaters, black bee-eaters, lesser swamp warbler, and striated heron, among others. You will return to the lodge for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

You will have dinner and a peaceful overnight stay at a lodge near the park.

The trail you follow may reward you with exciting encounters with the giant mountain gorillas of Uganda, as well as sightings of other primates that inhabit the forest. This activity may take about 4–5 hours in the jungle. Later, you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
