Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve

At 8:30am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and drive to Selous Game Reserve. Along the way, we will have a picnic lunch, and the journey will take approximately 5 hours through some of the most unexplored and untouched areas in Tanzania. In the afternoon, we will embark on a boat safari, where you can admire hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. You will have your meals and stay overnight at Selous Ngalawa Camp. The meal plan includes lunch and dinner.

Start your day with breakfast at your accommodation, followed by a full day of game drives in the reserve. Selous is home to a large population of elephants, a large number of buffalo, and wild dogs. Other commonly seen species include lions, bushbucks, impalas, giraffes, elands, baboons, zebras, kudus, and crocodiles. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at the Ngalawa Camp. The meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Selous Game Reserve Walking Safari/ Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, you can enjoy an exciting walking safari, which is a unique experience in Tanzania. You will be accompanied by armed rangers for about 2 hours. After the safari, you will drive back to Dar es Salaam. If requested by clients, a visit to Masai and fishing villages along the way to Dar es Salaam can be arranged. The meals provided will include breakfast and lunch.
