In the morning, embark on a guided village walk through the nearby village of Ngurdoto. Explore the local school, hospital, and church, and engage with friendly villagers, gaining valuable insights into Tanzanian daily life.

Following lunch at the lodge, journey to Makumira to visit the "Child in the Star" project. Tour the classrooms, observe students in action, and converse with them and their teachers. You'll embark on a hike alongside rice fields guided by the students, lasting about 1.5 hours (though the duration can be tailored to your preferences and conditions). During this trek, students will passionately share insights about the diverse bird species, monkeys, stunning natural scenery from a unique perspective, and even an old German colonial house.
