Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast drive to Tarangire National park. It is the vast number of baobabs that first capture the eye as you enter Tarangire Park. The gently rolling countryside is dotted with these majestic trees, which seem to dwarf the animals that feed beneath them. Picnic lunch along Tarangire River - Afternoon game drive along Tarangire River.
The park is spectacular in the dry season when many of the migratory wildlife species come back to the permanent waters of Tarangire River. A drive along the Tarangire river will offer you plenty opportunities to watch huge herds of wildebeests, zebras, elephants, elands, impalas, buffaloes, and many others which have come to drink water and will continue to stay in the park until the onset of the rains when they start moving out again.
Late afternoon drive to Twiga campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast and with picnic lunch in hand, we transfer to the Ngorongoro crater.
We travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation area. We arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and after lunch we will descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater to view wildlife for an afternoon game drive.
Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. After the game drive we travel back to Arusha where we will end our African safari adventure.
