Day 1

At 7:30 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Moshi and embark on a tarmac road journey to Tarangire National Park via Arusha City for game drives. Upon entering the park, you will enjoy a game drive and pause for a picnic lunch. After lunch, continue the afternoon game viewing, where you may encounter lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, pythons, zebras, oryx, impalas, and more. The park is a habitat for over 450 species of birds. In the late afternoon, your driver will guide you to the Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You will set off towards the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive with a picnic lunch. It shelters close to 30,000 animals including the Big Five. The crater teems with zebras, buffaloes, lions, wildebeest, warthogs, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, cheetahs, and a small population of the rare black rhino. The beautiful colors and dancing clouds make the crater almost surreal. Because of its natural beauty, the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders.
In the afternoon, you will drive out of the crater to Kilimanjaro Airport where your safari ends.
