Day 1

At 7:00 am, you will depart from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park via Morogoro where you will stop for lunch. After lunch, you will proceed to drive to Mikumi National Park arriving for a game view drive. Later after sunset view, you will transfer to Mikumi Bandas for dinner and an overnight stay.

The park is well-known for its population of elephants, buffalos, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, impalas and predators like tree-climbing lions, jackals, hyenas, and leopards. More than 400 species of birds have been recorded in Mikumi National Park.

You will enjoy a morning breakfast followed by a full-day game view at Mikumi National Park. A packed lunch will be served at the picnic site. Mikumi National Park provides an excellent opportunity to view lots of animals and birds. You will also visit the hippo pool. After a sunset view, you will drive to Camp Bastian for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Mikumi Maasai Village - Dar es Salaam

You will enjoy breakfast at Camp Bastian and then transfer to a Maasai village, the Boma located at Mikumi Village. You will arrive and be welcomed by one of the Boma chiefs or leaders. A Maasai guide will explain their way of life both past and today’s life of the Tanzania Maasai. You will get more information about the culinary culture of the Maasai. You will go back to the camp for a short rest then drive back to Dar es Salaam with a packed lunch on the way. You will be dropped off at your hotel or airport.
