Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
Our journey to Mikumi National Park will start at 4:30am, and we will drive 310 kilometers from Dar es Salaam, taking about 7 to 8 hours. This park covers 3230 square kilometers.
After arriving in Mikumi National Park, you will start the game drive! Mikumi National Park is set between the Uluguru Mountains in the north and Lumango Mountains in the south. The eastern part of Mikumi National Park is home to buffalos, elephants, lions, giraffes, pythons, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, impalas, and many species of birds.
You will have a lunch stop at 1:30pm and proceed with the game drive until the evening! Then, finally, we will drive you to your accommodation for the night.

Mikumi National Park and return to Dar es Salaam
Enjoy breakfast at 6:30am before leaving the camp and proceed to the Masai boma in Mikumi village. Here, you will learn about the past and present lifestyle of the Maasai in Tanzania.
You will also have the chance to learn about their culture and dance with them before we start our drive to exit the park. In addition, we will enjoy game viewing en route. At 9:00am, we transfer you to Dar es Salaam to drop you off at your hotel, the ferry, or the airport.
