Arrival in Kruger National Park

At 6:45 am, the shuttle departs from OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg). You will make your way through scenic landscapes towards Hoedspruit the Safari Capital, where you will be met by your Khalanga Guide. Start your safari adventure with an afternoon game drive in a private game reserve near Hoedspruit, which is a great first opportunity to see animals closeby in their natural habitat. In the late afternoon we take you to your motel style accommodation near Orpen Gate, where you'll be enjoying dinner on the hotel terrace (own account).

Safari in Kruger National Park

We will get up at dawn to make the most of our Kruger safari. Your guide prepares a quick coffee and snack as we get on our way. We will spend the morning in search of all the iconic animal species including the Big Five with a professional field guide, who will frequent dams, waterholes and riverbeds where animals can be seen. He will also show you different landscapes and tell you about the importance of vegetation and soil for different animal species that live there.

Later in the morning, we will stop at one of the picnic spots or at the rest camp, where your guide prepares a delicious warm breakfast for you.

In the afternoon we will stop at Satara Rest Camp, where your guide will set up the camp for you and prepare a scrumptious bush dinner which you will enjoy under the light of the stars of the African night sky. We'll spend a restful night after being lulled to sleep by the nightly sounds of the bush.

Morning Game Drive and Return to Johannesburg

After packing up we return to Hoedspruit, where your shuttle departs at 10.0 am to OR Tambo (arrival at approximately 5:30 pm), where this tour ends. Whether you continue your journey in Africa or return back home, you will take a lifetime of unforgettable memories of your African safari experience and surely you'll be back soon.
