Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You leave Arusha after breakfast with a picnic lunch packed safely away. The Rift Valley landscape drifts past as your guide heads for Tarangire National Park, the least visited reserve on the itinerary but one capable of delivering fantastic game viewing. Home to Tanzania’s biggest elephant population, Tarangire supports large numbers of buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and many antelope species, most evident during the dry season when concentrations of animals at the life-giving Tarangire River are at their peak. You stop at a picnic site and enjoy your lunch with breath-taking views of the park’s landscape and the river below you, and maybe in the company of elephants drinking and digging water from the sand River banks, after lunch proceeds with game viewing and the late evening proceed to your accommodation for dinner and overnight at Farm of dream lodge.

Have a relaxed breakfast at the lodge and depart to Serengeti with a nice packed picnic lunch to go with,
Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, where some 1: 5 million wildebeest hooves pound the open plains, as more than 300,000 zebras and 500,000 Thomson’s gazelles join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of elands, topi, kongoni, impala, and Grant’s gazelle. Within the 3 days, we are going to explore the plains, water holes, kopjes, and Rivers for the spectacular great migration, during the months of May-July. This is the best time of the year to see predators prey interaction, and the eastern plains of Namiri plains and the Gol-kopjes offer excellent cheetah and lion sightings.

You leave the camp after breakfast with a picnic lunch packed safely and depart this morning for game viewing in the Serengeti, exploring the western reaches of the Serengeti on safari, tracking the great migration and other game and wildlife that this vast area offers. The great migration is on the western side in the months of (June-July), where the drama unfolds with thousands of wildebeest concentrating along the Grumeti River to quench their thirst, these are the time to look for those 18-20 feet crocodiles hunting in the silent waters. The area is also home to elephants, lions, cheetahs, hippos, baboons, topi, hyenas, and a great number of birds have been recorded here, it’s also an area of untamed natural beauty, rolling hills, rivers, forests, and open plains. The camp is set in an area which offers excellent proximity to the river giving you more time to enjoy the migration without hurry.

Day 5

Serengeti Western to Central Serengeti

After a mouth-watering breakfast at the lodge, we leave the wildebeest migration behind and proceed to the central part of Serengeti, within these two days, we are going to explore the area’s rich habitats of Rivers, plains, acacia woodland, and kopjes from the great sighting of lion, leopard, and cheetah. The Sorenera valley is one of the best places in Africa to see lions with the lion project here the second-longest wildlife research in the world, and the leopard sighting is excellent. The Namiri plains offer excellent lions, cheetah, jackals, and hyena sightings, the area is also home to elephants, hippos, giraffes, baboons, heartbeats, and Grant and Thomson’s gazelle. Our camp is situated in a high game viewing area where wildlife viewing starts from your doorstep.

Your final sunrise in the Serengeti! After breakfast, you will wind your way toward Ngorongoro Crater, hopefully enjoying more wonder on the way!
Ngorongoro Crater is concealed by the steep volcanic walls and is a pristine wilderness including sweeping savannah, pockets of acacia woodland, glistening lakes and swamps. The crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago.
The drive down into the crater is an adventure in itself. When you reach the crater floor, you'll quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and more than 500 bird species. The crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhinos, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands.
After a full afternoon inside the crater, you will drive to your accommodation in Karatu.

Day 7

Karatu Lake Eyasi Tour

Karatu Lake Eyasi Tour

On this day, you will travel on a guided adventure to connect with the locals, learning about their daily activities and even participating in their hunting and gathering activities. The Hadzabe use bow and arrow to hunt antelopes, gazelles, birds, and mongooses, as well as harvest fruit, roots, and honey from baobab trees. They only require such things as a bow and arrows and a few cooking pans for survival. The Datoga, another community in the region, makes the arrows. These herders are accomplished blacksmiths.
They collect scrap metal and efficiently convert it into bracelets, arrowheads, and knives, which they trade with the Hadzabe for food.

Both communities are welcoming and will make you feel at home. You may also take a leisurely stroll around Lake Eyasi and explore the nearby communities. In the evening drive back to farm of dreams for Dinner, and overnight.

After breakfast, you drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a day of game viewing. In this small, but beautiful park with a dense forest you can spot lots of monkeys, giraffes, elephants, impalas, hippos, and flamingos, and if you are lucky, you may spot the rare tree-climbing lions, apart from the animals the contrasting landscape is stunning with the biggest diversity of habitat than the Serengeti national park. For birders there is your day over 425 species of birds have been recorded here with the highest number of raptors, In the late afternoon, you will drive back to Arusha, we will drop you at Kilimanjaro or your chosen accommodation.
