Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

Depart at 5:30 am from Dar es Salaam at the hotel or airport and drive to Mikumi National Park for 5 to 6 hours after arriving. Check in then make a full game drive across the great Mikumi National Park where you will come across lions, elands, hartebeests, buffalos, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, elephants, wild dogs and many species of birds. Your drive will be for 4 to 5 hours. After a game drive, get back to Bastian Camp for full board accommodation.

Maasai Culture at Mikumi then Drive Nyerere National Park

After breakfast in the early morning, pay a visit to the traditional Maasai culture then at 10:00 am, drive to Nyerere National Park for 7 to 8 hours. You will have a picnic lunch on the way. Meals and your overnight stay will be at Selous Jimbiza Camp.

Nyerere National Park Game Drive and Boat Safari

After the morning breakfast, our guide will take you for a full game drive across the park where you'll be able to see Sable antelopes, black rhinoceros, buffalos and lions. Lunch and drinks will be served in the wilderness before advancing with a game drive plus a short break. In the evening, you'll go for a boat tour which is the best excursion for bird enthusiasts. Explore the good view of crocodiles and hippos along the banks of the Great Rufiji River. Drive back for dinner and your overnight to the gentle grunting of the camp.

Walking Tour at Nyerere National Park then Safari Back to Dar es Salaam

Early in the morning, have breakfast at the camp and start a sunrise bush walk. It's an unforgettable experience to walk within such a vast and untamed area of the natural reserve. It also gives you the chance to experience the beautiful nature of the physical scenery of Nyerere National Park. The walk takes about 2-3 hours long.
After walking back to the camp, start your way back to Dar es Salaam for the arranged timetable with the drop off at the hotel or airport.
