Arusha national park wildlife viewing
After breakfast you will take 40 minutes’ drive to Arusha National Park with picnic lunch in hand. The entrance gate leads to the mountain forest inhabited by blue monkeys and colorful turacos and trogons – the only place on the northern safari circuit where black-and-white colobus monkey is easily seen. In the midst of the forest stands the spectacular Ngurdoto Crater, whose steep, rocky cliffs enclose a wide marshy floor dotted with herds of buffalo and warthog.
Further north, rolling grassy hills enclose the tranquil beauty of the Momela Lakes, each one a different hue of green or blue. Their shallows sometimes look pink with thousands of flamingos, the lakes support a rich selection of resident and migrant water birds, and waterbucks display their large horns on the watery borders. Giraffes, zebra herds, dik-dik can also be spotted. After the game drive you will drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Tarangire national park
After breakfast you will drive to Tarangire National Park. The drive will take around two and a half hours. You will see firsthand all that Tarangire National Park is known for – the famous ancient baobab trees, tree climbing pythons, and the largest concentration of African elephants, lions, leopards, cheetah. After a picnic lunch in midday, you will resume your afternoon game drive where you’ll encounter other animals such as, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, other antelope’s species in rich numbers and birds, then drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro crater
Depart after breakfast to the Ngorongoro conservation area. You’ll descend into the crater very early in the morning for a full day game drive with a picnic lunch midday at the base of the crater. One of the 8th Wonder of the World, the crater is a very important refuge for a variety of wildlife. Most commonly seen are big bulls of elephants and the vulnerable species of black rhinos. The crater is also home to big herds of wildebeest and zebras, thomson and grant gazelles, hippopotamus, African cape buffalos, prides of lions, hyenas, serval cats, golden and black backed jackals, and close to 400 species of birds. Then at the late afternoon you will start to drive out all the way to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Karatu.

Lake manyara national park
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park with picnic lunches in hand. The park is situated inside of the Great Rift Valley with a distinctive evergreen forest that provides suitable habitat for olive baboons, monkeys, big families of elephants, tree climbing lions, leopards and African cape buffalos. Midday you’ll enjoy lunch in the park before setting out for the open woodland areas where you’ll hope to set your sights on giraffes, hippos and flamingos. Upon finishing your afternoon game drive and proceed back to Arusha/ Kilimanjaro for an overnight, international flight or an extension to Zanzibar.
