Leave the lowlands behind as the journey traces a path eastward, rising steadily out of the savannah and climbing the steep, dramatic escarpments toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The air shifts becoming crisp, cool, and scented with damp earth and mountain flora as you enter the ancient highlands.

Arrive at your lodge for dinner and overnight. Spend the evening wrapped in the stillness of the high altitudes.
