Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

On this day, you will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in the morning to drive to Masai Mara through the Great Rift Valley. En route, you will enjoy the spectacular views of the Great Rift Valley via the road built by Italian prisoners of war during the Second World War. You will arrive at Mara Sarova Game Lodge in Masai Mara in time for lunch, freshly prepared by a well-trained team of Maasai chefs.

After lunch, you can wander around the camp compound and reconnect with your far-travelled self while you take in the tranquillity of Luxury Camp Masai Mara. At around 4:00 pm-6:30 pm, you will proceed for an afternoon game drive. Your dinner and an overnight stay will be at theLuxury camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close-range viewing and photography. You will break for your picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Your dinner and an overnight stay will be at the Luxury camp.
