1-Day Marangu Waterfall

You want to see a little bit more of Mt. Kilimanjaro but not climb the mountain? We organize for you an interesting day trip to Marangu, the starting point of the famous Coca-Cola route. At the gate of the National Park you get a lot of information about the mountain, the climbing history, the flora and fauna and you can observe the people, which get ready to climb the highest mountain in Africa. In Marangu village, we visit the Chagga museum and learn more about their culture and traditions. A short walk brings us to some beautiful waterfalls and we have our picnic lunch at one of the many scenic spots. As we ascended to Marangu on the so called Himo road, we drive down on the Kilema road and enjoy the nice views which this road offers.
