You will have a morning pickup from the airport or your hotel in Dar es Salaam and begin your drive to Nyerere National Park, a scenic journey of approximately 4 hours. Lunch will be taken along the way or upon arrival at the camp. You will arrive in the early afternoon and proceed with check-in at the camp, followed by a short time to relax and freshen up.
At 04:00 PM, you will depart for an evening boat safari along the Rufiji River, a tranquil and unique experience that allows you to observe wildlife from the water, including hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. The boat safari will run until 06:00 PM, after which you will return to the camp.
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Nyerere Tented Camp, surrounded by the untouched wilderness of Nyerere National Park.

Day 2
Guided Game Drive

You will depart the camp at 06:00 AM for a full-day game drive inside Nyerere National Park, exploring its vast and unspoiled wilderness. This extended safari allows for exceptional wildlife encounters, with excellent chances of spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and other plains game, as well as rarer species such as African wild dogs and a rich variety of birdlife.
You will enjoy a packed lunch in a designated picnic area within the park before continuing with game viewing throughout the afternoon. The game drive will continue until the evening, after which you will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay at Nyerere Tented Camp.

Day 3
Walking-Mikumi

You will start the day early at 06:00 AM with a guided walking safari lasting approximately 2 hours, offering a unique opportunity to experience the wilderness on foot and learn about animal tracks, plants, and the smaller details of the ecosystem. After the walk, you will return to the camp for breakfast, then continue the journey toward Mikumi National Park with packed lunch boxes.
The drive to Mikumi will take approximately 6–7 hours, passing through scenic landscapes and local villages. You will arrive in the late afternoon, check in at the camp, and have time to refresh and relax, preparing for the next day’s activities.

Day 4
Mikumi Game Drive

After an early breakfast at the Camp, you will depart for a full-day game drive inside Mikumi National Park, one of Tanzania’s most accessible and wildlife-rich parks. Exploring the open savannahs and woodland areas throughout the day offers excellent chances to see lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, impalas, and a wide variety of bird species.
You will enjoy a packed lunch at a designated picnic site within the park before continuing with game viewing in the afternoon. The game drive will continue until the late afternoon or early evening, after which you will return to the camp.
Dinner and an overnight stay will be at Camp Lilac, surrounded by the natural sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 5
Udzungwa Hiking
Udzungwa Hiking
After breakfast at the lodge, you will depart for Udzungwa Mountains National Park, a scenic drive of approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival, you will be met by a professional park ranger/guide who will lead you on a 4–5 hour guided hike to the spectacular Sanje Waterfalls. This rewarding trek takes you through lush rainforest trails, offering excellent opportunities to learn about the park’s unique biodiversity, including endemic monkey species, colorful birdlife, and diverse plant life.
At the waterfalls, you will have time to relax, enjoy the views, and take a refreshing swim if you wish. After the hike, you will return to Mikumi in the late afternoon.
Dinner and an overnight stay will be at Camp Lilac, allowing you to rest and reflect on a day of adventure in the Udzungwa Mountains.

Day 6
Mikumi - Dar es Salaam
Mikumi - Dar es Salaam
After breakfast, you will visit a Maasai village near Mikumi for a 1.5-hour cultural experience, offering insight into the traditional lifestyle, customs, and daily activities of the Maasai people. This meaningful interaction provides an opportunity to learn about their rich heritage, distinctive attire, and close connection to nature.
Following the visit, you will depart for Dar es Salaam, a drive of approximately 6–7 hours through scenic countryside. You will arrive in the afternoon, where you will be dropped off at either the Dar es Salaam Ferry or Julius Nyerere International Airport, marking the end of your safari experience.
