Tarangire National Park

Your driver-guide will collect you from Arusha or the airport, according to your confirmed arrival arrangements, and travel to Tarangire National Park. Look for elephants, giraffes and birdlife among baobabs and woodland. Game-viewing time depends on your departure time and the road journey, so an early start gives you more time in the park. Later, continue to The Castle at Ngorongoro for dinner and your overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, travel towards Central Serengeti, with game viewing once inside the park. Where the seasonal route and conditions allow, the journey may pass through the Ndutu area; migration herds are not present there throughout the year. Your guide will plan around current conditions and the time needed to reach camp. Continue to Enkirari Wilderness Camp for dinner and the first of two nights, giving you a settled base for tomorrow's exploration.

Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day exploring Central Serengeti with your private guide. Follow current sightings around Seronera, looking for cats, elephants, grazers and the smaller details of the bush. Take time to watch animal behaviour and ask questions rather than move quickly between sightings. Pause for your picnic lunch before continuing game viewing. Return to Enkirari Wilderness Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Leave after breakfast for the journey to Ngorongoro, then descend into the crater for game viewing as arrival time and permitted visiting hours allow. Look for buffalo, zebra, hippos and predators with your guide; a black rhino is a possibility rather than a promise. This is a busy day combining a road transfer with the crater visit. Later, ascend and continue to The Castle at Ngorongoro for dinner and your overnight stay.

Tree-climbing lions and other particular sightings cannot be guaranteed.
