When you land in Cape Town, you will be met at the airport and transferred to La Splendida Hotel, situated on the fabulous Greenpoint promenade, only 10 minutes from the Waterfront. This is where the best shops and restaurants can be found and where many activities and day tours start.
You can't be better located as you spend the next three days exploring one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Day 2-3
Cape Town

We highly recommend doing a Cape Point and Peninsula tour. This full-day tour will take you to see the highlights of Cape Town, including Chapman's Peak, Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope, the penguins at Boulders Beach and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Don't forget your cameras.
If the weather is good, you must catch the cable car to the top of Table Mountain to enjoy the incredible views across the city and peninsula.
We also recommend catching the ferry to Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned. Alternatively, there is still the inner city to explore, including the Castle, the Company's Garden and District 6.

Day 4
Cape Town to Greater Kruger
Cape Town to Greater Kruger
Today, head into the South African bush to Timbavati Private Game Reserve in Greater Kruger Park. In the morning, you will be transferred back to Cape Town Airport to catch your flight to Hoedspruit. Once you land in Hoedspruit, you will be transferred to Baobab Ridge, where you will spend the next three nights on safari, searching for animals. Enjoy your first afternoon game drive (time permitting), then sit down for a delicious dinner.

Day 5-6

The morning game drive starts at sunrise. You will wake up before dawn for tea and coffee before the game drive starts. Then, you are off for 3 hours to find as many animals as possible before they all find trees to hide under in the heat of the day.
When the game drive returns to the lodge, you will be served a delicious hot breakfast and have time to relax. You can sit by the pool, read a book, take a nap and absorb being out in the bush. Bush walks are on offer, subject to availability and weather conditions.
After high tea, the afternoon game drive will start around 3:30–4:00 PM. It will last for +-3 hours, with a stop somewhere for sundowners. You will return to the lodge in the dark, with a spotlight to look for nocturnal animals.

Sadly, your time in South Africa has come to an end. After a last morning game drive and safari activity, you will be transferred to Hoedspruit Airport to catch your flight home. If you feel like you haven't experienced enough of South Africa, please ask us about extending your trip, possibly to Victoria Falls, the Cape Winelands, or Hermanus, during whale season.
