Day 2

Tarangire to Serengeti

Tarangire to Serengeti

After our breakfast, On the way to Serengeti, you will pass by the Ngorongoro crater and enjoy the crater view before heading to our destination. The name Serengeti originates from the Masai word Siringitu and means endless plains. You will see why the Masai gave this region this name as the grassland Savannah stretches to the horizon in the South and is only interrupted by the so-called kopjes, These kopjes are bizarre rock formations formed by the weathering of granite outcrops. The plains are the perfect hunting grounds for leopards and other big cats; you will have a good chance to view these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat through the open roof of the vehicle. In the afternoon you will have a standard home meal and then later on arrive at your destination for the day. You will camp at the Seronera campsite for the night and enjoy a good meal in the middle of the African bush.

Wake up early morning for your breakfast before starting your Game drive exploration.
In Serengeti National Park, you can expect to encounter diverse wildlife, including the iconic Big Five - lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos. After breakfast, prepare for the final leg of your safari adventure as you journey to Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." Descend into the crater, marvelling at its stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. Spend the morning exploring the crater floor, encountering a variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, hippos, and more. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the natural beauty of the crater before continuing your game drive. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha, where you'll bid farewell to our team. If time allows, you may have the opportunity to explore Arusha or visit local markets for some last-minute souvenirs. Finally, transfer to your hotel or the Airport for your departure flight, carrying with you memories of an unforgettable safari adventure in Tanzania's most iconic national parks.
