You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and driven to a viewpoint in the Great Rift Valley to take pictures of the beautiful landscape. There will be another stopover for lunch in Narok town before you continue your drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at your camp for check-in, then have an optional Maasai village visit at an extra cost of 10 USD.

This is the best time of day to observe nocturnal hunters preparing for their nightly expeditions. Waterholes are also usually busy just before sunset as animals such as hippos return to their resting spots, while others congregate to drink before retiring for the night. Later in the evening, return to your budget camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, tour Hell’s Gate National Park, which has attractions like Olkaria and Hobley's, two extinct volcanoes, and obsidian formed by the cool molten lava. Within Hell's Gate is the Hell's Gate Gorge, lined with red cliffs that contain two volcanic plugs, Fisher's Tower and Central Tower, which is a smaller gorge that extends south and from which a path descends into hot springs. After your tour, you’ll depart for Amboseli with an en-route lunch. Later in the evening, you’ll check into your budget camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
