3-Day Incredible Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Our guide will pick you up from the airport or your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala after breakfast at 7:00am. You will receive a briefing about the entire safari before traveling to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. Along the way, there is a local drum and craft-making community that you will have the chance to visit.

After that, there will be a stop at the Equator for photo opportunities, and you can also purchase crafts and souvenirs as you head to Mbarara town, where you will have lunch. Then, proceed to Bwindi and arrive in the late afternoon. Check into the lodge, relax in the evening, and have dinner.

Gorilla Trekking, Nature Walk and Hiking

After enjoying an early breakfast, you will drive to the park's headquarters, where the rangers will provide a briefing on the dos and don'ts within the park. You will also be divided into groups of 7. Following the briefing, you will embark on a gorilla trekking adventure guided by the rangers. You will have the opportunity to observe the mountain gorillas up close in their natural habitat. Hikers, in particular, will relish the experience of exploring the park's beautiful ecosystem.

Be prepared for a challenging trek through steep and muddy terrain, possibly in rainy conditions, before encountering the gorillas. However, the effort will be truly rewarding as you observe the gorillas and witness their feeding, play, and rest. It will undoubtedly be a unique and unforgettable experience!

After an early breakfast at the lodge, we will drive back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport, stopping at the Equator for a mandatory group photo and some souvenir shopping.
