Day 1

Arrival - Transfer to Your Hotel in Arusha

Your guide ( or one of our representatives) will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) and escort you to Arusha Serena Lodge where you will spend the night. The drive from the airport to your hotel is about 45min. Later on, your tour consultant (accompanied by your safari guide) will meet you for your safari briefing that includes sharing important tips while on safari.

If you arrive early, you can option to add one more of the following activities: (activity supplement applies):
• Materuni Waterfalls hike
• Nature Walk and game drive in Arusha National Park

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up for 2.5-hour leisurely drive southwestwards to Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire National Park has the highest concentration of elephants in Northern Tanzania. You will witness an unforgettable natural wonder as you observe exotic mammals such as lions, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, and various types of antelopes such as gazelles. If you're a birdwatcher, then Tarangire is a paradise with over 550 species, including the Maasai Ostrich, the world's largest bird.

After another enriching day in Tarangire, you will return to your lodge in Karatu for a relaxing evening, dinner, and overnight stay.

After enjoying a heartily breakfast, you will set out with a packed lunch to Central Serengeti via Ngorongoro highlands with stunning landscape!

Central Serengeti offers everyday opportunity to spot Tanzania’s most impressive wildlife. Seronera River Valley is a ‘must see’ game area on each safari to Serengeti regardless. This area is dominated by an incredible number of resident wildlife including the “Big Five”.

Your day is dedicated to see the best of Serengeti wildlife activities with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eyes can see; arrive at the camp for evening leisure, dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Ndutu and Great Migration

Ndutu and Great Migration

After breakfast, you will enjoy the final game en route as you exit Serengeti for an exciting game drive in Ndutu to track Migration.

Lake Ndutu game area, which is located in the Ngorongoro conservation area, forms part of the southern Serengeti and Ngorongoro ecosystem. Lake Ndutu is an alkaline lake, like many other Rift Lakes. However, the water is still drinkable and is used by a variety of local wildlife. Since Ndutu is home to cheetahs and other cats, you will enjoy a more private game drive away from the main roads, with great opportunities to get quite close to the wildlife.

Your day will be dedicated tracking the Wildebeest Migrations and other stunning wildlife including cheetahs, lions, leopards and much more. Later on, you will head to your lodging for evening leisure, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Ndutu Walking Safari & Great Migration

Ndutu Walking Safari & Great Migration

After an early breakfast, you will set off for 1-2 hours walking safari in Ndutu accompanied by an armed ranger. A walking safari is an excellent break from game drives where visitors will learn some fascinating facts about nature, birds, insects, and medicinal uses of local plants, which you may not fully appreciate from the seat of your safari car. While the scents and sounds of the African bush are better sensed on foot, it is without doubt an adventure and a thrilling experience especially when the walk extends into wildlife habitats where encounters with freely roaming animals.

Later on, you will proceed with game drive to tracking wildebeests and their young ones dispersed on the Ndutu plains. As the food is plenty, predators and other animals give birth as well and this marks the best time to see cubs. Ndutu becomes an ideal training ground for predators and their cubs hence the most dramatic skills can happen; arrive at the Camp for evening leisure, dinner and overnight.

After a heartwarming breakfast, you'll depart for your final game drive in Ndutu and yet more heart-stopping photo opportunities as you keep on tracking wildebeests and their young ones dispersed on the Ndutu plains. As the food is plentiful, predators and other animals give birth as well, and this marks the best time to see cubs.

Later, proceed to Ngorongoro, at the edge of the crater, you will have your first glimpse of what awaits you the following day – glistening streams, open grassland, and an infinite number of animals.

Following this preview to tomorrow descent into the Crater, you will proceed to your lodging located at the rim of the crater for evening leisure, dinner and overnight.

Following breakfast, you will depart with your warm packed lunch for a wildlife viewing excursion on the crater floor at Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest volcano caldera formed three million years ago and is considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the world and one of Africa's most remarkable geological sites.

The crater has a unique ecosystem that is inhabited by more than 25,000 resident animals. In the grass steppes and acacia forest you can encounter almost every animal species of the East African savanna, including the Big Five (rhino, elephant, Cape buffalo, lion, leopard).

As evening approaches, you will ascend the crater and proceed to your designated airport for your inbound or outbound flight.
