Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met and greeted by our representative and then transferred to Arusha. It is an hour drive from the airport to your lodge. If you will arrive early you may opt to add one of the following activities: Lake Duluti or Momela canoeing, a coffee tour, a village visit/town tour, or any other activity of your preference (extra charge applies).

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Our personal driver guide will collect you from the lodge in Arusha and set out for Tarangire National Park. Passing across Masai plains with scattered acacia trees you will see the Masai walking on the roadside, riding bicycle driving donkeys and herding cattle. Tarangire is well known as elephant playground for its large elephant herds. From your open roof safari vehicle you will experience multitude creatures like lions, zebras, warthogs, wildebeest, and buffalo can be spotted here. Looking up above the trees you can glimpse lions stalking prey or leopards watching and relaxing up there. During the dry seasons Tarangire comes alive as wildlife and bird life congregate on the Tarangire River, which is a permanent source of water. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park

You'll be picked up from your hotel early after breakfast and start a beautiful journey across the Great Rift Valley for a full-day game drive. Lake Manyara National Park is small in dimension (205 sq. miles), with beautiful scenery and is well famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs and mahogany trees, as well as to a growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. The park is a home to animals including giraffes, elephants, impalas and a huge amount of buffaloes. The lake is also home to a large number of hippos. The game drives along the lake provide stunning photo opportunities of giraffes and buffaloes in the foreground and the lake in the background. Extra activities can be added to this day including Lake Manyara nature walk, biking tour or a boat excursion, Mto wa mbu village visiting etc. You will return to the camp for evening leisure, dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you will head to Serengeti National Park. The word Serengeti comes from the Maasai word "Siringet," which means “the endless plain.” The Central Serengeti is a year-round game viewing site that features a greater diversity of wildlife than anywhere in else in the park, including elephant, giraffe, impala, waterbuck, hippo, reedbuck, buffalo and baboon (all of which remain even after the spectacular hordes of blue wildebeest and zebras have gone). After a full-day game drive, you will head back to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 5

You will spend the full day on a game drive in the Central Serengeti, which is known as “the big cat capital of Africa.” Hundreds of predators roam the vast Savannah plains. Serengeti is also home to hundreds of bird species; among them the out-sized ostrich and bizarre secretary bird, the black eagles that soar effortlessly above the Lobo Hills. You will head back to the lodge in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Highlands

Ngorongoro Highlands

You will finish your time in the Serengeti today with a game drive in the Seronera section of the park chasing for big five and other animals. You will then you will head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival at the edge of the crater you will have your first taste of what awaits you the following day: open grassland and a countless number of animals. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 7

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast you will descend to the floor of the world famous Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Ngorongoro is thought to have formed about 2.5 million years ago when a large volcano collapsed inward after a major eruption, leaving the vast, unbroken caldera we see today as its chief remnant. The crater has a unique ecosystem that features over 25,000 resident animals. We will visit Lake Magadi a large but shallow alkaline lake in the south western corner which is one of the main features of the crater A large number of flamingos hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here. The Big Five can be found here.

Later you will drive back to Arusha.
