Day 1

Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park

Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park

You will be picked up in Arusha and start your journey across the Great Rift Valley on a full day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. The park has breathtaking scenery and is famous for its lush acacia forest, giant fig and mahogany trees that host baboon and blue monkey. You will see giraffe, elephant, impala and large herds of buffalo. Lake Manyara is also home to a large number of hippo. Don’t forget to look up to see the tree-climbing lion. The picturesque landscape of Lake Manyara provides stunning photo opportunities. You will make your way to the Njiapanda Tented Lodge where you will check-in, have dinner and settle in for your overnight stay.

Day 2-4

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

Over the next three days, you will stay at Hippo Trails and take in the vast, raw and largely untouched landscape of the Serengeti. The park is truly defined by its local translation of "endless plains" where the great migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra and impala travel from the south to the north, looking for food on the vast green pastures. You will head out early to enjoy action packed game drives in the park. You will return to camp for lunch and then head back out for another game drive. In the evening, the Serengeti comes to life with the sounds of evening silence, including the roar of lions. No two days in the Serengeti are ever the same! In the evening, you will return to the lodge where you will enjoy dinner and settle in for your overnight stay.

Day 5

After a hot breakfast, you will check-out of camp and say farewell to the Serengeti. With a picnic lunch to enjoy along the way, your journey will take you towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stopping off at points of interest such as Olduvai Gorge, you will learn about the discovery of the first known remnants of mankind. After this stop, you will continue your journey, eventually arriving at the Njiapanda Tented Lodge where you will check-in, have dinner and settle in for your overnight stay.

Day 6

After an early breakfast, You will vist Mto Wa Mbu for culture tour to exprience Tanzania local people life and banana beer factor then we will go to rice field farming. You will make your way to the Njiapanda Tented Lodge where you have dinner and settle in for your overnight stay.

Day 7

Lake Eyasi and the Hadazabe & Datoga Tribes

After breakfast, you will visit the Hadzabe Tribe, one of the last of the true hunters and gatherers who speak the “click” language and live solely off the land for survival. You can go hunting with them and see how they use arrows, skin the kill, as well as roast and eat them. You can also visit the traditional tribe called Datoga. After a stop for lunch, you will make your way to Tarangire National Park, the third largest national park and sanctuary for a very large elephant population. You will observe the elephant herds and a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, monkey, and a wide variety of birds. The landscape is a stunning backdrop with massive baobab trees. You will enjoy your last night on safari with delicious sundowners looking over the Tarangire River. You will settle in at the Tarangire Safari Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 8

Tarangire National Park - Arusha

After breakfast, you will check-out and visit the majestic baobab trees in the Tarangire National Park. This park provides a sanctuary for a variety of magnificent birds and a large number of animals. The Tarangire River provides a place where the animals will congregate for a refreshing drink and even a bath. You will meander through the rest of the park and then make your way back to Arusha. Tanzania has a way of getting under your skin and into your heart and we trust this trip will stay with you for a lifetime. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be dropped-off at a designated location. This is where your safari will end.
