Day 1

Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

Early in the morning at 06:00, you will be picked up from your hotel, and the guide will provide a brief introduction to the safari. Afterward, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This small park stretches along the high rift valley escarpments and is home to the alkaline lake.

The lake attracts a large variety of water birds, with over 400 species found in the park. Its diverse vegetation also provides a habitat for many animals such as monkeys, antelopes, giraffes, and elephants that roam among the acacia trees. You will also have the chance to see the famous tree-climbing lions of Manyara.

In the late afternoon, you will leave Lake Manyara and drive to Fanaka Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Lake Manyara to Serengeti

Lake Manyara to Serengeti

After breakfast, begin your transfer to Serengeti National Park, passing through the highland farmlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Karatu. We will then descend into the vast plains and head to the central part of the park, known as the Seronera Area, which is one of the richest wildlife regions in the park. The Seronera River provides a vital water source that attracts a wide variety of wildlife, representing many of the Serengeti’s species.

We will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive within the park. Later, we will drive to Intimate Camp Seronera for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

In the morning, we will depart for Ngorongoro Crater. This day marks the last game drive in the Serengeti before heading to the Crater. After an exciting game drive with numerous animal sightings and a picnic lunch, we will drive to Ngorongoro.

Tonight, we will stay at Rhino Lodge or Esidai Lodge, overlooking the unbroken caldera of Ngorongoro Crater. The views of the sunset over the savannah are truly breathtaking. After a long day of adventure, guests will enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge.

Day 4

After breakfast at Rhino Lodge or Esidai Lodge, we will descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day of wildlife viewing. Supported by year-round water sources and abundant vegetation, the crater is home to numerous animals, including zebras, elands, buffalos, warthogs, giant African elephants, and herds of wildebeest.

The crater also hosts a dense population of predators, such as lions, leopards, hyenas, and jackals. We will also visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner of the crater, which attracts many birds, including flamingos, and is home to hippos.

After the game drive, we will drive back to Arusha for your hotel or airport transfer.
