Arrive at Entebbe international airport and be met by our safari guide to start your Uganda gorilla, community and walking safari trip. You will be taken to the hotel to rest as you bring down the jetlag and be ready for the adventures starting tomorrow.

Day 2

Transfer to Lake Mburo national park - Enjoy a game drive & walking safari with giraffes and zebras

With breakfast at leisure, start the drive towards south western Uganda. stopover at the equator line for scientific facts and photo moments where the earth is divided into the North and southern. We continue the drive until we reach the savannah plains of Lake Mburo National park. Check in and enjoy a relaxed lunch before we get ready for a game drive mixed with a walking safari experience. With this game drive and walking safari, you will be able to come close with some savannah animals like the zebras grazing together with the Ankole long horned cattle, the impalas, buffaloes, topis among others. Overnight at Rwakobo Rock Lodge overlooking the endless views of Lake Mburo national park.

Transfer to Bwindi Forest - Evening community experience with Batwa

We leave Lake Mburo at lesiure after enjoying our breakfast. We drive on to Bwindi mountain gorillas through the beautifully cultivated hills to the jungle covered mountains of Bwindi. Our target is to arrive at the lodge on time for lunch. Check in and relax a little bit before we enjoy the community immersion with the local Batwa people who were the occupants of the forest before being gazzated as a national park. Retire your day at the lodge.

Spend a day tracking the endangered mountain gorillas, spending up to an hour with them. See mothers keeping infants close as they knucklewalk on three limbs. Watch scampering toddlers reined in by an attentive father, whose job is to protect his family. When you encounter a mountain gorilla in the wild, there is no mistaking the bond that exists between primate and man — and no escaping the poignant fact these creatures lie on the brink of extinction. Tranfer to Lake Bunyonyi and ejoy the stunning views of the lake. We shall spend the night here.

With breakfast at leisure, we enjoy the great views of Lake Bunyonyi and the famous Virunga Mountains as we do a boat trip on the lake visiting many famous islands. We shall then drive through the rolling hills of Kabale until we reach the famous emburara farm lodge ready to enjoy the evening with optional activities or relax at the swimming pool or take a steam bath with massage and sauna.

Today we wake up early in order to enjoy the farm life experience with the famous ankole long horned cattle. You will eperience how to hand milk cows as well as learning more about different farm activities. Part of the experience is tasting fresh milk from cows and learning more about the ancient Ankole culture. Return to the lodge for a brunch and get ready for the drive back to entebbe international airport for your international departure.
