Day 1

Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

Beasts Africa Safaris will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel or from the airport, bring you to the office for a short briefing of the safari and later depart for Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley. You will stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint where you will take a few minutes to see the scenic views of this amazing landscape. Then you will proceed to Narok where you will have lunch. Then you will proceed to Masai Mara National Reserve.
The Masai Mara offers excellent big cat encounters and is regarded by many travellers as an essential stop on any tour of Africa. You will see golden grassland plains pocked with acacia, wildebeests, zebras, lions, and jackals bound together by the cycle of life and death.
You will arrive in Masai Mara in the evening. Enjoy a game drive in search of the lion, leopard, cheetah, and rhino among all the other wildlife until late in the evening. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

You will have a full-day game drive. You will leave the camp with picnic lunch boxes to spend the entire day in the park. You will also have the option of visiting a local Maasai village at an extra cost of approximately 10 USD per person. You will return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, tour the Hell’s Gate National Park, with attractions like the Olkaria and Hobley's, two extinct volcanoes and the obsidian forms from the cool molten lava. This is a park where you can freely walk. Within Hell's Gate is the Hells Gate Gorge, lined with red cliffs which contain two volcanic plugs: Fischer's Tower and Central Tower which are smaller gorges that extend to the south and of which a path descends into hot springs. Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for evening game viewing. Lake Nakuru is referred to as pink lake for its thousands of pink flamingos. Its main feature is a large, shallow lake, which was famous for large flocks of flamingos and other birdlife. It’s a bird watchers' paradise and also a rhino sanctuary. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the budget hotel.

After breakfast, proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The lake still supports great birdlife, including big flocks of pelicans. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline. You will then drive to Amboseli National Park. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the camp.

Enjoy full-day game drives in Amboseli, also known as the land of giants. Amboseli has four of the Big Five. A variety of plains game, antelopes and birds can also be seen and Mount Kilimanjaro peak. Lions are the easiest to spot of the big cats. We will cater picnic lunches. Return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
