Nairobi - Lake Naivasha

You will be picked up from the airport or your accommodation in Nairobi. Depart for Lake Naivasha, one of the Kenyan freshwater lakes, with a stopover at the great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you will view the effects of land faulting processes. You will arrive in time for lunch at the resort. After lunch, the driver will assist you in getting the boatmen who will take you for a boat ride on Lake Naivasha. The boat takes you on a scenic tour of the lake, including a visit to the Crescent Island, an animal and bird sanctuary on the eastern side of the lake. A number of mammals can be seen grazing in the surrounding lake environment, such as Maasai giraffe, zebra, dik-dik, steenbok, impala, gazelle, and, at night, hippo. You can wander around at your own pace and enjoy the peace and quiet broken only by the sounds of the island's wild inhabitants.

At 17h00, you will return to where you had left your driver, then drive to the resort for dinner and overnight.

Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, you will depart for the neighbouring Lake Nakuru National Park. In less than an hour, you will arrive for check-in and lunch at the resort. After lunch, you will proceed to the park gate for your afternoon game drive around this park, which is famous for its rhinoceros sanctuary. Other wildlife includes Rothschild's giraffe, the African Cape buffalo and other smaller species such as Thompson's gazelle. It is also a prime area to see the nocturnal leopard on a lucky day. A tour in this park without visiting Baboon Cliff is incomplete. After the game drive, you will crown your tour at the cliff for splendid views of the lake and its surroundings. At 18h00, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara

After breakfast, you will depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve. The drive takes you through the beautiful flower farms of Naivasha along the floor of the Rift Valley to arrive in time for lunch. Upon arrival, you will check in, have lunch and relax as you prepare for your first thrilling game drive in the reserve, one of East Africa's top safari destinations. The game reserve incorporates 1,510 km² of incredible, wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of Kenya's Mara and Talek Rivers. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is a typical open savannah with a mass of amazing wildlife. Returning from your first foray into Masai Mara, you will have dinner and relax under the stars, falling asleep to the sounds of the bush.

Masai Mara

On this day, you will have breakfast at the camp, then depart for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. You will search for the Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast game reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange-tinted sunsets worth capturing on camera. Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara, you will see a large amount of wildlife such as Maasai giraffes, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyenas, topis, impalas, hartebeests, and wildebeests. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos are also found in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal or surveying the plains for their next meal. You will return to the lodge in the evening.

After breakfast, you will check out and depart for Nairobi, with a stopover in Narok Town to refresh. You will arrive in Nairobi at about 13h30 and be dropped off at your place of accommodation, or you can head to JKIA airport to check in for your onward flight, depending on its departure time.
