Day 2

After an early breakfast, you will set off for Murchison Falls National Park, driving through the scenic Ugandan countryside with views of rural life along the way. Stop in Masindi for lunch before continuing the journey. Upon arrival at the park, proceed to your lodge to check in, enjoy dinner, and relax as you prepare for the adventures ahead.

After an early breakfast at 6:00 am, you will set out for a thrilling game drive in the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park. This area is rich in wildlife, including large herds of elephants, buffaloes, and giraffes, as well as predators such as lions and leopards. Return to the lodge for lunch before embarking on an afternoon boat cruise along the Nile to the base of the falls. Along the way, look out for hippos, crocodiles, and an impressive variety of water birds.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, you will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park on a scenic drive of about 6–7 hours. Enjoy lunch en route, with a possible stop in Fort Portal town. Arrive in the afternoon and check into your lodge before heading out for an evening game drive in the Kasenyi Plains. This area is rich in wildlife, featuring large herds of buffaloes, elephants, and various antelope species, with chances to spot predators such as lions, hyenas, and leopards.

Day 5

After an early breakfast, you will embark on a game drive to the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is renowned for its unique tree-climbing lions. Often seen resting in the branches of fig trees, these lions make Ishasha the perfect place to observe this rare behavior. During the drive, you may also encounter buffaloes, elephants, and hyenas. Return to the lodge for lunch before setting out for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which links Lake Edward and Lake George. The cruise provides excellent opportunities to spot hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of birds. Conclude the day with dinner at the lodge and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, where you can spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, and a variety of antelope species. Following the drive, you will depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to Uganda’s mountain gorillas, on a journey of approximately 3–4 hours. Stop for lunch en route, possibly in Kabale town, before arriving in Bwindi in the evening to check into your lodge and settle in for the night.

After an early breakfast, set out for your gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The trek can last between 2-8 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla families. Guided by experienced trackers and assisted by porters, you will navigate the dense forest in search of these majestic creatures. Once you locate the gorillas, enjoy a remarkable hour observing them as they feed, play, and interact in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing or exploring the surrounding area.

After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic 2–3-hour drive to Lake Bunyonyi, Africa’s second deepest lake, renowned for its serene atmosphere and breathtaking views. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, relax on a boat cruise across the lake, exploring some of its islands and taking in the lush surroundings. Later you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Mburo National Park, a scenic 4–5 hour drive. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. Though smaller in size, Lake Mburo offers excellent game drive opportunities and is home to zebras, impalas, buffaloes, and a wide variety of bird species. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to explore the park’s diverse wildlife. Later you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
