Leaving the City of Gold

You will arrive in Johannesburg in the morning or early afternoon depending on your flight schedule.

You will begin your journey out to Kruger National Park, travelling from Johannesburg through the highveld grasslands of Mpumalanga, before reaching the escarpment. This is where you will spend the first evening relaxing at the Blyde River Canyon, and enjoying a buffet-style dinner.

Panorama Route to Kruger National Park

You will enjoy a relaxed morning at your chalet, before having a buffet breakfast. Afterwards, you will attend a morning brief (optional) before heading down to the bottom of the canyon. The level of the hike will be up to you.

From there, you will travel the Panorama Route, enjoying stops at some of the highlights of this region; Three Rondavels, God's Window, and Bourke's Luck Potholes. You will enjoy lunch at Graskop. Afterwards, you will travel down to the gates of Kruger National Park, where you will enjoy an afternoon game drive.

You will arrive in the evening at the Lower Sabie Rest Camp, check in, and enjoy a local bush dinner.

Safari in Southern Kruger National Park

Today you will enjoy a typical day on safari, starting with a morning game drive in search of wildlife. You will return to camp for a hearty breakfast, and relax during the heat of the day in camp. The camp's amenities include a swimming pool, a lookout over the river, a shop, a restaurant, and plenty of space to walk around.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a short game drive along the river searching for wildlife coming down to drink. You will also enjoy a local dinner in the evening on a bonfire with the sounds of the night out in the bush.

This evening you will enjoy a brief night safari after dinner, roaming the bush in the safety of your vehicle with spotlights to try and view the nocturnal animals of Kruger National Park.

Central Kruger National Park

After getting ready and packed in the morning, you will shift camp to the central region of Kruger National Park. You'll enjoy a long morning game drive, with comfort stops along the way and breakfast. You will arrive at Satara Rest Camp in mid-day, check-in and relax. You will enjoy a short evening game drive, searching for the nocturnal animals of the bush!

On the following morning, you will see one of the special activities Kruger National Park has to offer, a guided walking safari in the bush with armed rangers for safety. This will be followed by afternoon game drives in the next few days. All meals are provided and there will be time to relax at the camp during the day, visit the swimming pool, or just chill!

Exiting Kruger National Park

Today you will enjoy a morning game drive then return to the camp for a hearty breakfast and pack.

You will check out and travel back to Johannesburg by road.
