Day 1

Canoeing Safari & Sundowner

Canoeing Safari & Sundowner

You'll have a special welcome by our representative (or your guide) upon arrival at the airport, then board your vehicle for a leisure drive to your hotel. The drive from the airport to your hotel is about 45 min to 1hr. After check-in, you will be escorted to your special honeymoon room.

Later on, our representative will pick you up for an amazing sunset canoeing in one of the spectacular crater lakes, a true sanctuary nature trail lake surrounded by a forest with over 130 different bird species. The sunset is magical... very quiet and so peaceful. You will spend 1.5 hours cruising the lake and watching the birds go to sleep. Later, you will enjoy a bottle of wine (white/red) or champagne and snacks on the lake shore watching the sunset.

On this day, we will also meet for a safari briefing to share some tips with regard to your safari before embarking on a wildlife sanctuary!

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

After your breakfast, your guide will pick you up for a 2.5 hours leisure drive southwestwards to Tarangire National Park.

The Tarangire has the highest concentration of elephants in Northern Tanzania. During the dry season, the Tarangire River which cuts through the park is a magnet for animal life. You will witness an unforgettable natural wonder as you observe exotic mammals such as lions, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras and various types of antelopes such as gazelles. Tarangire is a paradise for birdwatchers with over 550 different species including the Maasai ostrich, the world’s largest bird.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy our homemade hot lunch at a picnic site. The rest of the afternoon is dedicated to more game viewing. Later on, proceed to your lodge near Lake Manyara for evening leisure, dinner and your overnight stay.

Note: If you wish, you can replace this day with Lake Manyara National Park instead.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park Via Ndutu

After a hearty breakfast and leisurely morning, proceed to Serengeti via Ndutu with your packed lunch. Ndutu is part of the Ngorongoro & Serengeti ecosystem famous for cheetahs and other big cats. Enjoy half a day off the main roads exploring the best of the Ndutu game area.

After lunch, you will proceed to Serengeti which offers everyday opportunities to see Tanzania’s most impressive wildlife. The name “Serengeti” comes from the Maasai word “siringitu”, meaning “endless plains”. You will see why once you see its ocean of grassland savannas stretching to the horizon as far as your eye can see. The abundance of African wildlife is of course what makes it such a sought-after safari destination. Animals include healthy populations of lion, buffalo, impala, hippo, waterbuck, elephant, cheetah, leopard and a host of other game species—not to mention the more than 400 species of birds.

After a rewarding day of game viewing, drive further to your camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4

Your entire day is dedicated to seeing the best of Serengeti wildlife activities. Mornings and evenings are always the best time to view animals! You will descend into the heart of wild Africa—the Serengeti National Park—with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eyes can see. You will head to the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River which provides a valuable water source to this zone. The river attracts wildlife representative of most of the Serengeti’s species including lions, cheetahs, elephants, leopards, giraffes, a great number of hippos and abundant birdlife.

Before the sun goes down, your guide will drive you to a beautiful sundowner spot where you will watch the sun go accompanied by snacks and drinks of your choice, you will head back to your lodging for evening leisure and a hot dinner.

Today you will enjoy the final game drive in Serengeti and yet more heart-stopping photo opportunities! Serengeti accommodates a great number of wildlife including healthy populations of lion, buffalo, impala, hippo, waterbuck, elephant, cheetah, leopard and a host of other game species—not to mention the more than 400 species of birds.

Later on, you will continue to Ngorongoro. At the edge of the crater, you will have your first glimpse of what awaits you the following day—glistening streams, open grassland and an infinite number of animals. You will then get out of your safari vehicle for an hour of walking safari. This walk is a very good way to get out of the car without committing to a serious walking or trekking after several days of wildlife viewing. It allows you to see tracks and signs and have the feeling of isolation that comes from trekking in the African Bush.

In the evening, you will return to your lodge which offers a spectacular view of Ngorongoro Crater.

After breakfast, you will depart with your packed lunch to Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing on its floor. Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest volcano caldera formed three million years ago and is considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and Africa's most remarkable geological sites.

The crater has a unique ecosystem that is inhabited by more than 25,000 resident animals. In the grass steppes and acacia forest you can encounter almost every animal species of the East African savanna, including the “Big Five” (rhino, elephant, Cape buffalo, lion, leopard).

Later on, ascend the crater and proceed to the respective airport in time for your air transfer back home or to your next destination.

Note: To avoid the pressure of getting to the airport, you may consider adding an extra night in Arusha and fly out the next day. Our team is happy to assist you with booking the additional night.
