Your Ganyana safari driver-guide will meet you upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport. He will brief you about this amazing Safari. He will then transfer you to your hotel, where you will meet very professional, hospitable people. You'll relax, have dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast and a briefing about birding set off to Mabamba Wetland, which is the nearest site for the Shoebill, Lesser Jacana, Blue Swallow, Black-Shouldered Nightjar, Afep Pigeon, Blue-breasted Bee-eater, Papyrus Gonolek, and White Winged Warbler. In the afternoon, you'll visit the botanical gardens, which are another bird haven in Entebbe. Later, you'll head to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, you'll depart for Lake Mburo National Park, having a stopover to look at the Royal Drum makers. You'll stand on the Equator, then continue to Lake Mburo National Park for the different unique fauna, gigantic eland antelope, as well as zebra, topi, impala, and several acacia-associated birds, hippos, crocodiles and a variety of water birds. Later, you'll head to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you'll head for a game drive as you watch the different bird species like the Brown Chested Plover, Red Faced Barbet, Southern Ground Hornbill, Papyrus Yellow Warbler, Yellow Billed Oxpecker, African Fin foot, Black Collard Barbet, etc. You'll have an afternoon boat trip and later an evening game drive and overnight stay.

Day 5

After breakfast, you'll proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, best known for its mountain gorillas; the Montane Forest also attracts spectacular birds. You'll take a nature walk through Munyanga Waterfall and discover primates such as the grey-cheeked Mangabey, blue monkeys, and other species. Later, you'll have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6

After an early morning breakfast, you will head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. You'll enjoy a whole day of bird watching in Bwindi Forest to Mubwindi Swamp. You will have a chance to see different bird species in this forest. Later, you'll transfer to Buhoma birding en route, have dinner, and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you'll leave for gorilla tracking at 8.00 a.m. We recommend that you wear good walking shoes and carry a rain jacket and a flask of water. Tracking can be tough, and we trust you are in reasonably fit condition. You will carry a picnic lunch into the forest with you. You will be thrilled to have seen these rare primates (no guarantee), and the return journey will be easier. You'll have dinner and an overnight stay.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - Queen Elizabeth National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you'll transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a home of different bird species. As you enjoy bird watching, you'll see the enticing elephants, hippos, giraffes, lions, hartebeest, and mammals like the graceful Roth child Giraffe, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Uganda Kob, Defassa waterbuck, and buffaloes. Oribi and, when lucky, a leopard and lions among others.

Boat Trip on Kazinga Channel and Birding
Boat Trip on Kazinga Channel and Birding
After breakfast, you'll enjoy a boat trip along the Kazinga Channel, where you'll view wildlife up close: hippos, buffalo, and a tremendous variety of birds grace the grasses on the river’s edge, and, when lucky, a leopard and lions, among others. You'll enjoy a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel with beautiful views of birds as Lake George connects to Lake Edward.
