A Ganyana safari driver-guide will pick you up from the hotel, meet and greet you, and begin the Murchison Falls adventure with a stopover at Nakasongola. There, you will have lunch and then transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a sanctuary for rhinos. Enjoy a glimpse of the white rhino and some birding around the vicinity, and later continue to Murchison Falls National Park. You will head to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, embark on a half-day game drive on the northern bank of the Nile River. Escorted by a game ranger, you may opt for a game walk while trailing animals and studying animal spoor. Wildlife in this area includes giraffe, elephant, hartebeest, lion, Uganda kob, oribi and a variety of savannah and woodland birds. After lunch, take a Nile cruise to the bottom of the falls for game viewing at close quarters. Then, you'll head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After an early breakfast, start your drive to Kibale Forest National Park as you enjoy the beautiful countryside landscape. The park is in Fort Portal, a town in the southwestern part of Uganda. You will enjoy views of tea and banana plantations. Later, you will head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi nature walk
After an early breakfast, head to the Kibale Forest Headquarters and get a briefing on the day’s activity. With a ranger guide, you will venture into the jungle in search of the chimpanzees. While tracking, you can spot different animal species like the red colobus monkey, black-and-white colobus monkey, grey-cheeked mangabey, olive baboon, red-tailed monkey, and L’Hoest’s monkey, among others, as well as different bird species. You will spend one hour with the chimpanzees as you watch them play, feed and groom each other.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a nature walk, rich in biodiversity and beautiful scenery. The wetland is a birder’s paradise with about 138 species. It hosts 8 species of primates, including the black-and-white colobus, grey-cheeked mangabey, red-tailed, L’Hoest’s and blue monkeys, and olive baboons. Later, you can enjoy a walk to the “top of the world” along crater lakes. You'll then head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Today, after a relaxed breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will peacefully be driven to the park towards the south, passing through the crater lake area as you enjoy the beautiful landscape with hills. Relax as you appreciate the breathtaking atmosphere at the park before going for an evening game drive. Later, head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Enjoy an early breakfast and head out for a morning game drive to the kob mating area in Kasenyi. You can expect to see elephants, buffaloes, lions and other fauna in their natural habitat. You'll return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, go for an exciting boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. A good percentage of wildlife is found along this channel, including buffaloes, hippos and elephants. Later, head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7
Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Bwindi via the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Here you may spot wildlife including the famous tree-climbing lions, elephants, and buffaloes, among others. Bwindi Forest is the lushest highland rainforest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps. You will arrive in the evening as you prepare for gorilla trekking the following day. You will have dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will proceed to the UWA visitors’ reception, where a briefing is done before trekking. It takes a few minutes, but you leave with gorilla etiquette. Walk and hike this steep and slippery terrain until you meet the gorilla family. Enjoy the hour allowed in the company of the brilliant giants! Looking into the eyes of one of the magnificent creatures brings home the distressing fact that they are on the edge of extinction, and that your presence contributes to ensuring their continual survival. Depending on the duration of the trek, you can either head for the Batwa cultural experience, relax at the lodge or enjoy another walk around the village with the breathtaking views of the Virunga Mountains. Later, head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy an early breakfast, then embark on your journey across the beautiful landscape, the rolling hills, cultivated terraces, and tropical rainforest. Lake Bunyonyi is one of the only lakes around where you can swim safely. Here you will have time to relax, swim, go for a ride in a dugout canoe or just sit by the side of the pool and read a book. Later, you will head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 10

After breakfast, we set out on a 4-hour drive to Lake Mburo National Park, where we will go on a game drive in search of eland, antelope, zebra, impala and many acacia-associated birds. We will also visit some of the lakes within the park where hippos, crocodiles and a variety of waterbirds will be seen. After lunch, we crown off the afternoon with a boat ride on the lake. Later, we head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 11
Transfer back to Entebbe
Transfer back to Entebbe
After an early breakfast, you will go on a walking safari, where you will have the chance to get up close and personal with the wildlife. En route, you will stop for lunch. Afterward, you will proceed to the Equator to buy some souvenirs to take back home. Continue to Entebbe for your air transfer home.
