Arusha to tarangire National Park

In the morning after breakfast (around 7:30 AM), your safari guide will arrive at the hotel you are staying at and inform the receptionist that he is waiting for you. After meeting up with your driver, you will travel to Tarangire National Park and by 10:00 AM you will already be on your first day of safari!

Tarangire National Park is famous for having an astonishing number of elephants who typically tend to stay close to the Tarangire River, their primary water source. Apart from the elephants, you have a chance to see lions, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, various antelopes, and many other savannah dwellers.

The Altezza team has its own radio channel used by our drivers for communicating and collaborating with other safari guides in search of rare species.

At lunchtime, you will have a delicious picnic in the park, after which the safari will continue. In the evening you will be taken to the hotel.

Lake Manyara National Park

Your guide will meet you at the hotel in the morning after breakfast (around 7:00 a.m.) and you will head for the second day of your safari in Lake Manyara National Park!

You will spend the full day in Lake Manyara. Your guide will take you to the drive along the lakeshore, surrounded by a beautiful green forest, whose greenery attracts so many animals to feed on it: zebras, antelopes, buffalos, giraffes, and many others. The entire territory of this park is cut through with groundwater streams that provide a favorable environment for plants and, in addition, for a multitude of birds (including pink flamingos) and African forest animals.

Around lunchtime, you will visit the Maji Moto hot springs and the driver will provide you with personal lunchboxes. After this stop, the safari will continue, and by evening you will be transferred to a hotel in Arusha.
