Arusha - Tarangire National Park
After early breakfast, we will depart for Tarangire National Park. The park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it. This ‘river of warthogs’ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. In some places, the vegetation is quite dense with elephant grass and acacia woodlands. The park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. Tarangire is the best place to see these gentle giants in their natural habitat, from the adorable calves all the way up to the intimidating bulls. You may also see giraffe, bushbuck and hartebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. There are more breeding species of birds found in Tarangire National Park than anywhere else on the planet. After lunch and an extensive game drive, we will head to our accommodation. Dinner and your overnight stay will be Marera Valley Lodge.

Lodge - Serengeti National Park
Have an early breakfast then drive to Serengeti with game viewing en-route. Serengeti is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and scientific value. It has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. It is the migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November, and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge or crocodile infested river can hold them back. Serengeti is truly home to the legendary Great Wildebeest Migration. The park is rich with wildlife, endless plains, sunrises and sunsets that make the heart go wild. A packed lunch will be served at a picnic site. Late in the afternoon, drive to your accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay at Baobab Lodge.

Serengeti National Park Full Game Drive
Serengeti National Park Full Game Drive
The entire day is set aside for more game drives in the Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is the habitat for an abundance of wildlife, such as impalas, buffalo, crocodiles and hippos, but is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebras and wildebeest. The animals’ trek is determined by the rainfall and varies from year to year. In November and December the animals move from the northern region, dominated by woodlands and hills, to the grassy plains of the south. During the longer rainy season from April to June, they return to the north. Apart from the migrating herds, you might have the chance to see predators, such as leopards, cheetahs and lions, always lurking close by.
After an unforgettable day, you will return to your Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

The animals roam freely through the unfenced reserves offering you an uninterrupted game viewing experience. Arriving at the edge of the crater you will have your first glimpse of what awaits you the following day – glistening streams, open grassland and an infinite amount of animals. Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater
Early risers are rewarded with breath-taking views of the rising sun over the crater’s edge and, after a hearty breakfast, you will drive down the adventurous track into the crater. This UNESCO world heritage site, one of the seven wonders of Africa and most incredible ecosystems on Earth, formed millions of years ago in the massive explosion of a volcano, is 610 m deep and covers roughly around 260 square kilometres. Due to its dense animal population of approximately 25 000, the crater offers the best game viewing of all the parks in Tanzania. In matter of minutes you will be able to see wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area. With a little bit of luck you might catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino through the grass.
After lunch you will ascend the steep walls of the crater and head to your Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Arusha
After breakfast, you will drive to your final destination on this epic safari - Lake Manyara National Park. This is a relatively small but diverse park, 120km west of Arusha. The park’s namesake is a shallow, salt lake. It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species. On your exploration of the park you will see monkeys, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant and with some luck, lions lounging in the trees. The park is known for its various landscapes; not only open grassy plains, but also primate-filled woodlands and baobab dotted cliffs.
