Day 1-2

The Chobe River

The Chobe River

Today you will be transferred to the Chobe River for 2 nights at Chobe Elephant Camp on a full-board basis.

A 2-hour transfer after breakfast will take you to the Chobe National Park and your next accommodation, Chobe Elephant Camp. Perched on a forested ridge, the traditional safari camp offers panoramic river views at almost every turn. Game drives along the river floodplains are mixed with boat cruises to deliver a comprehensive Chobe experience. At its best in the May to October dry season, the river attracts huge numbers of animals, especially elephants who crowd the water’s edge on a hot afternoon. The densities of the game draw predators, especially lions and increasingly leopards, which are seen lurking in the riverine forest. The river cruises allow you a closer look at the Chobe. Keep an eye out for crocodiles and hippos as well as giant monitor lizards and African Fish-eagles.

Day 3-4

The Classic Tented Safari

The Classic Tented Safari

Today you’ll fly by shared charter to Sango Safari Camp in the Okavango Delta. You will enjoy two nights on a full-board basis.

From the Chobe Riverfront, you will fly by shared charter to the northern the Khwai Community Area. The Khwai Concession is arguably one of the most scenically beautiful parts of the Okavango Delta. This, combined with the fact that it is home to some of the greatest concentrations of wildlife, making it a wildly popular safari destination. The Khwai River is the northernmost 'finger' of the Okavango Delta's alluvial fan. The Sango Safari Camp lies comfortably on the edge of the Khwai River in the Okavango Delta and borders the world-renowned Moremi Game Reserve. Guests can enjoy traditional Mokoro trips in dug-out canoes, night game drives and even adventurous bush walks. There is also a cultural village nearby for those interested in local customs and cultures.
