After breakfast, travel from Morogoro toward Nyerere National Park. The road journey takes approximately six to seven hours, depending on conditions and stops. You will pass towns and rural landscapes before reaching Selous Mapumziko Lodge, just outside the park, for your overnight stay. This description does not promise a game drive on the transfer day. Your day starts before the sun fully rises with an immersive full-day game drive, promising a wealth of wildlife encounters. You'll venture deep into the heart of the bush, maximizing our chances of spotting elusive creatures and witnessing the wonders of the African wilderness. To ensure everyone remains refreshed and energized, you'll pause your adventure around midday for a satisfying lunch and a relaxing one-hour rest, allowing time to stretch our legs and recharge for the afternoon. The game drive then continues with renewed vigor, carrying on until the late evening hours, as you seek out nocturnal animals and soak in the stunning sunset views. As dusk settles, you'll transition to a different mode of exploration with a leisurely boat tour on the majestic Rufiji River. Gliding along the water, you'll have the opportunity to observe aquatic wildlife, admire the riverine landscapes, and enjoy the tranquility of the evening.

Your day begins with an early morning pick-up for an immersive walking safari in the wilderness of Nyerere National Park. Accompanied by an experienced bushman and a professional armed ranger guide, this unique experience allows you to explore the bush on foot, gaining a deeper understanding of the ecosystem, wildlife tracks, and natural surroundings.
After the walk, you will return to the lodge for a well-deserved breakfast and some time to refresh. Later, you will begin your journey back to Dar es Salaam, where you will be dropped off at your preferred location.
