Amboseli National Park
This day is set aside for exploring Amboseli National Park with early morning game drives where the light is perfect and Mount Kilimanjaro's background offers good photographic scenery coupled with the concentration of wildlife on the ground. We will then return to the lodge for breakfast. We will be free the rest of the morning and maybe enjoy a dip in the pool or game viewing from the lodge terrace. We will have lunch at the lodge and in the afternoon, have an option to visit the Maasai village (optional at extra cost). We will later explore the park with evening game drives. Then return to the same lodge in Amboseli, for a night under starry skies. Amboseli National Park is at the foot of Africa's highest mountain, 5895m Mount Kilimanjaro. This national park offers some of the best opportunities to see African animals because its vegetation is sparse due to the long dry months.

Masai Mara National Reserve
We will spend the whole day exploring Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives where we will have the opportunity of spotting the Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino and buffalo). We will have an option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend the entire whole day in the park. We will also have the option visit to a local Maasai village at an extra cost or take a hot air balloon ride at $450 per person. Masai Mara is one of the best-known and most popular reserves in Africa where wildebeest migration could be seen with roughly thousands of animals, other times there are hundreds. The plains are full of wildebeest, zebra, impala, topi, giraffe and Thomson gazelle. Also seen are leopard, lion, hyena, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared fox. Black rhinos are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance. Every July, August and September, wildebeests travel from Tanzania's Serengeti plains, northwards to the Masai Mara and the Mara River is the final obstacle.
