Day 1
Nairobi to Aberdare National Park

We pick you up from the airport or your hotel in Nairobi and depart in the morning by road to Aberdare National Park, arriving at the Outspan Hotel in Nyeri at midday. After lunch at the Outspan Hotel, we transfer with the lodge vehicle to The Ark. Located just inside the gates of the park, The Ark overlooks waterholes and a saltlick. The lodge rises straight and stark on stilts and is solely dedicated to game viewing. The possibility of seeing wild animals up close has created the Ark tradition.
The Aberdare National Park is part of the Aberdare Mountain Range, a fascinating region of Kenya. Mountain ranges and peaks soar to around 14,000 feet and are home to leopards, lions, colobus monkeys, bongos, red duikers, sunis, birds, and rhinos. Dinner and overnight will be at The Ark Lodge.

Day 2
Aberdare National Park to Lake Nakuru National Park

Transfer after breakfast with the lodge vehicle to the base hotel and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru is world famous for its stunning flocks of lesser flamingoes which turn its shores pink. Its birdlife is world renowned. On arrival in the park, have a game drive en-route to Lake Nakuru Lodge, which is situated in the southeast ecological niche of the Lake Nakuru National Park.
Lake Nakuru Lodge blends well with its surrounding and the animals often browse peacefully close to the gardens. After lunch at the lodge, proceed for the afternoon game drive around the lake until sunset. Dinner and overnight will be at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge.

Day 3
Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara National Reserve

Have an early-morning game drive in search of leopard and rhino, and return to Lake Nakuru Lodge for breakfast. Check out after breakfast and continue to Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving at Sarova Mara Game Camp in time for lunch. Fringed by marshes and surrounded by ghostly fever trees, Sarova Mara Game Camp is situated inside the Masai Mara National Reserve, perfectly recapturing the romance of the early pioneers.
Later, we proceed for the afternoon game drive until sunset in search of the Big Five. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.

Day 4

Have a full day in the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives across the plains and close encounters with elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffalos, giraffes, African birds, hippos, crocodiles, vultures, African birds of prey, wildebeests, and hyenas. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5
Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi
Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi
Have an early-morning game drive and return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, check out from the camp and drive back to your hotel in Nairobi or for drop-off at the airport.
