You will be picked up by a guide from Kihindo Tours and Safaris at your hotel, airport, or ferry for safari briefing and then drive south to Selous Nyerere National Park which is approximately 4 and half hours drive from Dar es Salaam. On arrival, you will have lunch and start with afternoon boat safaris in the Rufiji River.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Selous Mloka Safaris Lodge on a full-board basis.

Day 2

After breakfast, your full safari day begins. The Selous Reserve offers a diversity of fauna and flora. You will be amazed by the wildlife and nature. You will see lakes hosting an array of aquatic fauna, magnificent baobab trees, extended plains, hills, bushes, and forests. In the forest, you will pass by giraffes, elephants, warthogs, the rare wild dogs, birds, monkeys and the list goes on. At lunch, you will be offered a rich meal box. After your picnic Lunch and some relaxation, you will continue with the game drive until the evening. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Mloka Lodge.

Day 3
Mikumi National Park
Mikumi National Park
You will start the day with a morning walking safari. After the walking safari which takes around two and a half hours, you will return back to your lodge shower, and have your breakfast. After breakfast, you will drive to Mikumi National Park with one stop at the Cate Hotel for a relaxing pause and lunch. After checking in at the lodge, you will drive through the plains of the Mikumi savanna on a half-day safari. You will discover lions, elands, hartebeests, buffalos, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, elephants, wild dogs, and a large variety of birds. Your dinner and your overnight stay will be at Mikumi Bandas Lodge.

Day 4

Your final day begins with an early morning game drive from 6:30 a.m offering one last opportunity to experience Tanzania’s spectacular wildlife and stunning landscapes. As the bush comes to life, you will enjoy a delightfull bush breakfast surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature.
The game drive continues until 1:00 p.m. maximizing your final safari experience. Upon returning to the lodge, a delicious lunch will be served before departure.
After lunch, you will transfer to Morogoro SGR Station, passing through scenic countryside and colorful villages. Upon arrival, board the SGR train departing at 4:00 p.m. for Dar es Salaam and enjoy a comfortable journey to the coast.
On arrival in Dar es Salaam, Kihindo Tours and Safaris, representative will assist with your transfer to the airport or your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzanian adventure. We look forward to welcoming you again soon. (Approx. 875 characters).
