Welcome to Tanzania. Our team will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport, help you find your transfer and welcome you with refreshments. Travel to Mount Meru Hotel in Arusha, where you can settle in and rest after your flight. Your Gosheni team will explain the safari arrangements and answer your questions about the journey ahead. There are no game drives today, giving you time to arrive comfortably before heading to Tarangire the following morning.

Tarangire National Park

Meet your private driver-guide at your Arusha hotel and travel to Tarangire National Park. Begin exploring its baobab landscapes and woodland, looking for elephants, giraffes and other wildlife along the way. Your guide will introduce you to the park through the animals, tracks and birds you encounter. Pause for a hot lunch in the park, then continue game viewing as time allows. Later, settle into Serian Tarangire Camp for dinner and your first night in the bush.

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, travel to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. Its woodland and lakeshore make a striking change from Tarangire, with baboons, elephants and birdlife to look for along the route. Your guide will help you notice the smaller details as well as the larger animals. Enjoy a hot lunch during the day before continuing your safari. Later, leave the park and drive to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. Sightings vary, and Manyara's tree-climbing lions are never guaranteed.

Serengeti National Park

Leave after breakfast for the journey to Serengeti National Park. Take in the changing scenery before beginning game viewing in the park and continuing towards Central Serengeti. Your guide will look for wildlife along the route and choose stops as conditions allow. Enjoy a hot lunch, then an afternoon game drive before reaching Enkirari Wilderness Camp. Dinner and your overnight stay are here, with two nights at the same camp allowing you to settle in rather than repack the following morning.

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, leave the Serengeti and travel towards Ngorongoro for your crater game drive. This day combines a road journey with wildlife viewing, so an early departure helps make the most of the schedule. Descend to the crater floor and explore with your guide, looking for hippos, buffalo, zebra and predators. A black rhino is a possibility, though sightings cannot be promised. After your visit within the permitted crater hours, ascend and continue to Naserian Safari Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
