Leave Arusha early for Tarangire National Park. Your guide will introduce you to baobab landscapes, woodland and the wildlife along the route, looking for elephants, giraffes and birds. Pause for your picnic lunch before continuing game viewing as time allows. Later, travel to your campsite for dinner and your overnight stay. Camping is part of this journey, bringing a simpler setting for the evenings between your days in the parks.

After breakfast, travel by road to Serengeti National Park with your picnic lunch. Begin game viewing once inside the park and continue with an afternoon drive as the journey allows. Watch the landscape open into broad plains while your guide helps you look for resident wildlife. Arrive at your campsite for dinner and your overnight stay. This is a transfer day with wildlife viewing, so the time available depends on road conditions and your progress.

Serengeti National Park

Enjoy a full day of game drives in Central Serengeti and the Seronera area. Your guide will follow recent sightings, looking for cats, elephants, grazers and birdlife. There is time to watch behaviour and learn how the animals use the landscape. Stop for your picnic lunch before continuing the safari, then return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay. Migration herds move seasonally and may be elsewhere during your visit.

Ngorongoro Crater

Leave the Serengeti after breakfast and travel towards Ngorongoro. Descend into the crater for game viewing as arrival time and permitted visiting hours allow, with a picnic lunch during the day. Explore grassland and wetland habitats with your guide, looking for buffalo, zebra, hippos and predators. Later, ascend and continue to your campsite for dinner and your overnight stay. Today combines a substantial road transfer with the crater visit.

After breakfast, explore Mto wa Mbu through the included village walking visit and cycling activities. This is a cultural village experience rather than an armed-ranger wildlife walk. It offers a different way to finish the journey after several days of game viewing.
