It is most famous for its elephant migration, birding, and quiet authentic safari atmosphere. The majority of travelers to the region either miss out on visiting Tarangire altogether or they venture into the park for only a matter of hours, leaving parts of Tarangire virtually untouched.

After breakfast, we'll drive to Serengeti National Park, bringing along a picnic lunch for the journey. Once we arrive, we'll embark on an afternoon game drive, soaking in the park's stunning scenery and diverse wildlife. After an exciting day of exploration, we'll return to camp for a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
There is a massive number of wildebeests participating in the migration. Despite being individual animals, they all follow a deeply ingrained instinct that guides them to move together as a group. The wildebeests' instinct drives them to migrate in search of food, water, and breeding grounds. This behavior is essential for their survival and reproduction, contributing to the natural balance of the ecosystem.

Ngorongoro Crater

Following breakfast, we'll journey to Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game driving. Descend into the crater floor to marvel at its abundant wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst this scenic wonderland. As the day draws to a close, we'll return to your camp for a delightful dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
The jewel in Ngorongoro's crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20 km across, 600 m deep and 300 sq km in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingo, hippo and other water birds can usually been seen here.

Lake Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might expect to observe 100 of these in one day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants.

Mto wa Mbu to Arusha
Mto wa Mbu to Arusha
After breakfast, you will go on a walking safari, do some cycling and enjoy a local cultural visit. Head back to the camp for lunch. Thereafter, drive to Arusha for the drop-off at your hotel.
Mto wa Mbu village has a very active cultural programme that seeks to show visitors the traditional way of life of the villagers. There are various activities and also a range of community projects up and running. You can visit top spots in the area, taste Tanzanian food and experience authentic cultural interaction. There are a number of excellent walking, hiking and biking tours offered in the village.
