Tarangire-Lake manyara

Tarangire is one of Tanzania’s less-touristic parks, meaning fewer crowds and a more intimate wildlife experience. This makes it an excellent place for spotting animals, especially during the dry season when many species gather at the Tarangire River to quench their thirst. Unique wildlife found here includes the dwarf mongoose, oryx, and the gerenuk also known as the "giraffe gazelle" due to its long neck and upright browsing posture.
After your game drive, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, known for its natural hot springs and its famous tree-climbing lions, which often seek refuge in the branches to escape the midday heat. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through the park, where common sightings include elephants, buffalo, leopards, and lions.
