Day 1

You will be met by WildRace Africa Kenya Safaris representative at your hotel. They will give you a briefing concerning your safari. He/she will also introduce you to your driver/guide.

You will then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park and arrive in time for lunch at Lake Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge. We'll later proceed for a game drive exploring Lake Nakuru National Park.

The park lies in Central Kenya, 140km northwest of Nairobi, in the Nakuru district of the Rift Valley Province. The ecosystem comprises the lake, surrounded by mainly wooded and bushy grasslands.

The park supports a wide ecological diversity with flamingos (greater and lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area.

The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhinos, buffaloes, and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species.

You will later drive back to the Lake Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2

Have breakfast then drive to Masai Mara, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves.

Masai Mara is situated in southwest Kenya and is one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves, together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania.
The park forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible, and spectacular ecosystems and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing ecosystem.
It is globally famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards, and cheetahs, and the annual migration of zebra, Thomson's gazelles, and wildebeests to and from the Serengeti every year from July to October, known as the great migration.

You will arrive in time for lunch at Sarova Mara Game Camp. After lunch, you will have an afternoon/evening game drive and later return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3

Alternative 1: Have morning breakfast and exit the camp with a packed lunch for a full-day game drive at the Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. You'll later return in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay.

Alternative 2: Have a morning game drive and then return for breakfast. Later, freshen up and take off for a mid-morning game drive. Return to the camp for lunch. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure like swimming in the pool. More game drives take place in the evening in search of more animals.

You may also choose a morning balloon ride (optional), where you'll be picked up and transferred to the balloon launch site. Here you'll meet your pilot, receive a briefing, and watch the inflation of your balloon. The actual ride starts at 6:00 am.

On your way back, you'll pass through the Masai village (Optional) then an afternoon game drive. Return to Sarova Mara Game Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

After breakfast, you'll exit the park with an en-route game drive as you exit the park (If your accommodation is inside the park). If your lodge is outside the park, wake up, have breakfast, and depart for Nairobi. You will have a stopover at the Great Rift Valley escarpments and later be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
