Arrive In Rwanda | Transfer To Akagera National Park | Boat Cruise | Evening Game Drive

On arrival in Rwanda, you will be welcomed and picked by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Kigali International Airport, and be transferred to Akagera National park.

When you get to the park, you will go for a short game drive then check in at your lodge and go for lunch.

After lunch, you will go for a boat trip on Lake Ihema to watch Hippos and crocodiles in the water or by the shores.

After the boat cruise, you will go for an evening game drive. The park hosts a number of big mammals with the most sought after being Lions, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Zebras, Elephants, and Hippos, which will provide for great photographic moments.

The park has in the recent past made great strides in conservation by engaging the community through community tours. With the re-introduction of Lions, you have numbers of the Big five increasing by the day.

Last Day With Us | Morning Game Drive | Transfer To Kigali For A City Tour| Flight Back Home

We arise early and leave right after breakfast for a game drive in Akagera National Park. We will be searching for big mammals like Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes, several Antelope species, and recently the re-introduced Lions and Rhinos. The park is a varied habitat for wildlife and a birders haven with over 500 bird species in the park.

At around 10 am, we drive back to Kigali and embark on a city tour visiting the Genocide memorial site and African art and craft markets. You will have lunch in Kigali Transfer to Kigali International Airport for your flight in the evening.
