Transfer to Murchison Falls Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast at your accommodation in Entebbe, you will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park in the northwest of Uganda, a journey of 311km (a drive of about 5 hours). You traverse through the undulating hill slopes of Nakasongola before branching off at Nakitoma for 7km to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary just 176km north of Kampala.
Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch is the proud home of the only wild rhinos in Uganda following their extinction and thus offers an unforgettable rhino tracking experience. Ziwa is the only place where you will be able to see rhinos in the wild. The sanctuary is home to over 20 Southern white rhinos. The sanctuary has become increasingly popular with tourists who come for rhino trekking, bird watching, nature walks and relaxation.
After this activity, you will continue to Murchison River Lodge for dinner and overnight at the famous Masindi Hotel. If time allows, we will do some birdwatching around the lodge after checking in.

Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
Wake up for an early morning game drive where you will have a chance to spot the early risers and nocturnal species before they return to their hideouts. We traverse the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest national park before returning to the lodge for breakfast.
The 3,893 sq km park is home to a range of animals. You have the chance to view some of the park's residents including lions, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeests, antelopes and buffalos. The bird species include shoe-billed stork, secretary bird, red-necked falcon, Heuglin’s francolin, Denham’s bustard, Senegal thick-knee and Egyptian plover.
In the afternoon, go for a boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls. The launch cruise will take you close to the falls’ base where you will be shown the spot where Ernest Hemingway’s plane crashed during a sightseeing tour to Murchison Falls in 1954. You can get off the boat and proceed on a hike up the side of the falls to the top.

Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, embark on the transfer to the Kibale National Park, a drive of about 7 hours. Traverse the rural sceneries and traditional homesteads of the Kagadi district before arriving at Kyenjojo and eventually Fort Portal town where you’ll have a hot lunch.
Drive to the lodge and take a rest before you continue along the Kibale Forest edges that harbor the greatest variety and concentration of primates found anywhere in East Africa. The park is famous for its chimpanzees. Kibale protects a remarkable 13 primate species, including the very localized red colobus and L’Hoest’s monkey, galagos, blue monkey, red-tailed and vervet monkey.
Kibale Forest has the highest number of recorded sightings of the green-breasted pitta, which is another sought-after bird in Uganda.

Morning chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, drive to Kanyanchu, the Kibale Park headquarters, by 8:00 am for a chimpanzee pre-trekking briefing by the park staff. The chimpanzee trekking experience tends to last 2 to 5 hours, including an hour of a direct encounter with these amazing creatures. In addition to chimps, Kibale Forest is home to other primates including the red-tailed and grey-cheeked mangabey, phoestes and blue and red colobus.
After the successful trekking experience, embark on your 1-hour drive to the famous Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the late afternoon for relaxation at your place of residence.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel
After breakfast, undertake a trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the south of Kibale, a journey of 157km (about a 3-hour drive). Traverse through the banana plantations and magnificent plain landscapes of Kasese. Proceed on the trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an afternoon boat cruise along the 45km-long Kazinga Channel.
In the afternoon, we take a 2-hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel. The prominent mammals include lion, leopard, spotted hyena, African elephant, African buffalo, giraffe, Uganda kob, common bushbuck, hippopotamus, common warthog and the spectacular giant forest hog, the largest and undeniably least attractive pig on earth.
There are many key bird species in the area like the white-faced whistling and knob-billed ducks, African spoonbills, open-billed and saddle-billed storks, collared pratincoles, water thick-knees, spur-winged and African wattled plovers and African skimmers.

Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After a delicious cup of African coffee, engage in an early game drive in the undulating savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park and the extensive Kasenyi tracks. Explore the park’s unique scenery marked with numerous herds of wildlife including lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, jackals and flocks of unfamiliar bird species.
The game drive normally lasts for 3 to 4 hours after which you return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch. You will then transfer to the Ishasha sector for a short evening game drive as you head to the lodge.

Nature walk from Buhoma to Nkulingo
After breakfast, your forest walk will start from Bwindi's Impenetrable National Park's headquarters where you will meet your guides. You will be registered and briefed about this nature trekking adventure through the jungle. After you have exited the park, your guide will take you to your lodge for relaxation.
Note: This is an active adventure and requires some level of fitness. The trek is categorized into 2 phases; a shorter walk of 3 hours and a longer walk of 6 hours.

Bwindi gorilla trekking
After an early breakfast, you will take a packed lunch, have a briefing by the game guides at the park headquarters and start your gorilla trail. Hiking through the thick, verdant, rainforest to eventually come across the gorillas in their natural habitat, is an unforgettable experience.
This encounter takes between 2 to 9 hours and is the highlight of an Africa exploration safari. You will have 1 hour of close contact with these calm and gentle apes to take pictures and get acquainted with them. You can take as many photos as you wish before we return to the starting point.
After this encounter, we proceed to your lodge for relaxation.

Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Today morning after your hearty breakfast, You will check out from your lodge and embark on your journey to Rwanda through chanika boarder. On the way you may visit coffee farms in kisoro which will expose you to making espresso locally or visit pygmies the first people in the forestsreaching your lodge in the volcanoes in the late afternoon.

Golden monkey trekking & Transfer to Kigali
After breakfast, you will undertake the golden monkey tracking where you have a chance to encounter the other critically endangered primates known to exist only in the Virunga massif in this part of the world. In the montane habitat, you can also spot some endemic bird species like the white-starred robin, handsome francolin, dusky turtle dove, Western green tinkerbird, Rwenzori double-collared sunbird, dwarf honeyguide, and mountain buzzard among others.
After the activity, transfer to kigali capital of Rwanda
