After breakfast in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a game drive in Tarangire, spotting animals such as lions, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. A scenic picnic lunch will be served during your safari adventure. In the late afternoon, transfer to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge, resting comfortably before the next day’s Serengeti adventure.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel, and you’ll drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, crossing the lush highlands en route to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy your first game drive as you head toward your camp or lodge, spotting wildlife along the way. The Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in northern Tanzania, spans about 15,000 square kilometers and is home to over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and around 500 bird species. During the dry season, you may witness the iconic Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra. The park also supports abundant resident wildlife such as hippos, elephants, crocodiles, giraffes, and the rare oribi antelope. In the evening, arrive at your midrange accommodation within the park for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness.

After breakfast, you’ll set out for a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, with a picnic lunch enjoyed in the heart of the bush. Your guide will take you through different areas of the park in search of wildlife, exploring the vast open plains that make the Serengeti one of the most celebrated safari destinations in the world. Expect to encounter a wide range of animals, from large predators to graceful herbivores and diverse birdlife.

Located in northern Tanzania, the Serengeti is a UNESCO World Heritage Site spanning approximately 15,000 square kilometers. It’s home to over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and about 500 bird species. During the dry season, the park comes alive with the spectacle of the Great Migration, as massive herds of wildebeest and zebra cross the plains. The northern Serengeti also supports a healthy population of resident wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, lions, and the rare oribi antelope.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, we will depart from Serengeti National Park and begin our journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying en route game viewing as we exit the park. Upon arrival at the crater rim, we will descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive.

This spectacular caldera, the largest unbroken and unflooded volcanic crater in the world, was formed over two million years ago following a massive volcanic eruption. The crater floor is a natural haven for wildlife, supporting a dense population of animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hyenas, and—if you're lucky—the rare black rhinoceros. It is also home to a rich variety of bird species, with flamingos often seen along the crater’s soda lake.

After a thrilling day of wildlife encounters in this unique ecosystem, you’ll continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

These include a Spice Tour to explore local spice farms, a visit to Prison Island to see historical ruins and giant tortoises, the Safari Blue Trip featuring a full-day dhow cruise with snorkeling and a seafood lunch, and a Dolphin Tour offering a chance to swim and snorkel alongside dolphins. You can also discover rare red colobus monkeys on a Jozani Forest Walk or enjoy snorkeling and diving among Zanzibar’s vibrant coral reefs.
