Upon your arrival at the airport, our guide will be waiting for you. After a brief introduction, you will be transferred to Karatu for an overnight stay. Along the way, you can have some stops at some of the cultural shops to have a look at cultural art and galleries.

Karatu–Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel, and drive you up to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Then, you will continue crossing the Ngorongoro Highland up to the entrance of Serengeti National Park, where you will start a game drive heading to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti is a park located in northern Tanzania and is a world heritage site occupying an area of around 15,000 square kilometers, with over 2 million herbivores, 4000 lions, 1000 leopards, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species. This area also has massive herds of migratory wildebeests and zebras during the dry season. However, the North Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife including lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles and the rare oribi antelopes.

Full-Day at Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we will continue with a game drive in Serengeti National Park. On this day, you will be able to explore the Serengeti plains and with the help of your guide, you will be able to spot as many animals as possible.

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast early in the morning, you will drive out of Serengeti with en-route game viewing, reaching the gates of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will descend the crater where you will be able to see a lot of animals living within the crater.

The crater is the world's largest caldera which was formed after an explosion that occurred approximately 2-3 million years ago. The crater floor is 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level. The area has around 30,000 animals and a great variety of birds.
