Day 5-6

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

Early morning game drives are highly recommended. If your budget allows you can add a balloon safari in Serengeti to see the animals from the sky. Because this is a migration package and Serengeti is very large your game drives will depend on the move of the migrants. Our guides know how to locate the herds. The Serengeti National Park is famous for the Great Migration, over one million wildebeest and two hundred thousand plus zebras each year follow the rains. From late June to October, the migration is on the Northern part of Serengeti. In late October and November, they travel from the mountains of the north, southwards to the plains seeking lush pastures. It is from mid-December to March when migration comes to life in Southern Serengeti (Ndutu - the Calving area). After the great rainy season in April, May, and June the herds then make their journey back. After a great time and moments captured with your cameras, you'll proceed to your accommodation for an overnight stay.
