Your shared adventure begins early in the morning as you are collected from your accommodation in Windhoek and transferred to Windhoek Truckport, where the tour officially departs at 06:00 AM.

Travel south through the beautiful central highlands of Namibia and descend toward the Namib Desert, passing scenic mountain landscapes and vast open plains.

Along the way you will stop at the small desert settlement of Solitaire, famous for its historic petrol station and delicious apple pie bakery. It is a perfect place to stretch your legs and enjoy the unique desert atmosphere.

Continue your journey through the Namib-Naukluft region to your lodge located near the park.

Day 2

Today begins early as you head into Namib-Naukluft National Park for one of Namibia’s most spectacular natural highlights.

Drive through the ancient desert landscapes to reach the famous Sossusvlei dune fields, home to some of the highest sand dunes in the world. You will have the opportunity to climb one of the iconic dunes such as Dune 45 or Big Daddy, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the desert.

Continue to the remarkable Deadvlei, a striking white clay pan scattered with ancient camel thorn trees that are over 800 years old. This surreal landscape is one of Namibia’s most photographed locations.

After exploring the dunes, visit Sesriem Canyon, a narrow gorge carved by the Tsauchab River over millions of years.

Return to the lodge in the afternoon to relax and enjoy the peaceful desert surroundings.

Day 3

After breakfast, depart the desert and travel northwest through the dramatic landscapes of the Namib-Naukluft National Park.

The route takes you through spectacular desert mountain scenery including the impressive Gaub Pass and Kuiseb Canyon, offering incredible photographic views of Namibia’s harsh yet beautiful landscapes.

Eventually the desert meets the Atlantic Ocean as you arrive at the coastal town of Walvis Bay, where you will stop at the lagoon to see large flocks of flamingos and other coastal birds.

From Walvis Bay, continue a short drive north to the charming town of Swakopmund, known for its German colonial architecture, seaside promenade, and cool ocean climate.

The afternoon is free to explore the town, visit cafes, shops, or walk along the beach.
