Day 1

Distance 140 km.
After breakfast, you start a safari from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is famous for its dense wildlife population, which is most spectacular between June and September, the dry period. During this time thousands of animals- wildebeest, buffalo, and oryx migrate from the dry Maasai steeple to the Tarangire River looking for water. Lions, leopards and other predators follow the herds. Tarangire is home to over 500 varieties of birds. Have lunch and take a late afternoon game viewing and drive for dinner and overnight at Sunbright Campsite.

Day 2

Lake Manyara National Park for a full game drive

Lake Manyara National Park for a full game drive

After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park for the morning and afternoon game drives. Start the game drive through an underground water forest, proceed to Acacia woodland savanna open land, pass by a hot water spring, and proceed to Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara is home to many flamingos and other water birds. The park is home to tree-climbing lions, hippo, elephants, zebra, buffalo, giraffe, baboon, blue and velvet monkey, warthog, and more. About 350 species of birds have been recorded here. You will have a picnic lunch, dinner, and overnight at Sun bright Campsite.

Day 3

Manyara to Serengeti National Park

Manyara to Serengeti National Park

After early breakfast we leave for Serengeti National Park, driving through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with the option of visiting Olduvai Gorge (known as the cradle of mankind the hominids dating 2 millions years back). The game drive takes us to the vast Serengeti plains, home of the big game animals, the predators, great migration and the Nile crocodiles. 06:30 pm - at sunset you are driven for dinner and overnight to the Seronera Campsite.

Day 4

After breakfast we start a day with the morning game drives in Serengeti National Park marveling at the stunning scenery, ever-changing light and always entertaining wildlife, all explained to you by your expert guide.

With the optional picnic or hot lunch at 12:30 am. After lunch we set off again for afternoon game drives that take us till sunset 06:30 pm when we drive to the camp for dinner and overnight at Seronera Campsite.

Day 5

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

After breakfast, depart from Serengeti Ngorongoro Crater rim. Wake up for early morning game drives in Serengeti then head back to the campsite for breakfast. You will then check out and drive with lunch and game viewing en route to Ngorongoro Crater rim for dinner and overnight in Ngorongoro Simba campsite.

Day 6

Crater back to Arusha/Airport

Crater back to Arusha/Airport

Wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then descend into the crater floor for game drives. All of the Big Five (rhino, lion, buffalo, and elephant) live in this wonderful caldera. Others that live here are zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more. Birds include flamingos on the Soda lake, geese, storks, vultures, and more. Your lunch will be served at the picnic site in the crater at Ngoitoktok swamp, a Hippo pool. After lunch, drive back to Arusha/airport.
